We are based on the River Severn, where we have our own access to the river via slip-way. We have numerous amount of equipment for on and off the water, all of which is securely tucked away and nicely marked :) The hut floor is grand for sleepovers, messy indoor activities and general meetings. Complete with male and female toilets and a kitchen.
Our leadership team is strong and the Scout Leadership team have Water Activity Qualifications, ranging from BCU Kayak and Canoe Coach to RYA Safety Boat. We are slowly expanding these into climbing and mountain walking.
We have two Beaver Colonies, a Cub Pack and a Scout Troop. On a Tuesday night the Worcester North Explorers use our facilities. There are around 15 children in each of the beavers and cubs with around 36 Scouts at any one time.
Our grounds encompass areas for the Children to play and camp. Complete with a small car park, loads of room to go mad and have enormous amounts of fun. We have large open fields and public parks nearby for widegames and plain old exploring. Worcester City centre is a 25 minute brisk walk away.
If you fancy a visit and you are a Scout Member then please get in touch. The Scout Leader is always keen to foster relations with other groups.
