Cubs 8-10

Cubs is the second section of the Scouting movement, originally started in 1916 for younger brothers who wanted a 'look-in'. In nearly a century, the section has constantly evolved and adapted its programme and methods to meet the changing needs of each generation of young people, and these days admits girls as well as boys.

Our Cub Scout Pack draws members from the Beaver Scouts moving up when they reach 8, we are also accepting new child members into our pack. If you wish to have a talk with the Cub Scout Leader then please use of contact details page.

The activities that the cubs vary from nights away camping or sleepovers at the hut through to water activities. The cubs meet on a Thursday night where we do different games and activities where they will ultimately gain activity and challenge awards for their uniform. Its all about taking part, having and go - but most importantly having FUN!!!
